The Artist Manager upholds a very prominent role & functionality in the Company. The Artist Manager closely works with the Artists from providing administrative support to guiding Artists, connecting new artists, upgrading profiles, and also holding accountability for the artists’ accounts and clients and projects in his/her function area. The Artist Manager is the Direct face of the Company and a good knowledge person who knows and understands all the functionality of the website and business policies and has excellent PR skills and a good eye for Talent. They guide Talents with the right information and ensure an artist successful in the marketplace. The artist manager is an artist's representative, agent, manager, or consultant.

 

Artist Manager must have extensive knowledge of the Company, Talent Management, and skills to identify the Talent should be proactive, career-focused, and have a positive approach to close work on Artists from time to time up follow up with their profiles, and involve in various workshops and other grooming sessions for the Artists.  

 

The artist Manager organizes and facilitates the casting of Artists for roles in various projects. This involves working closely with the Artists & the clients to understand their requirements, and suggesting ideal artists for each role, as well as arranging and conducting interviews and auditions and also with negotiations of fees, signing amounts and contracts for the Artists, and acting as a liaison between the client and the Artists.

  • Should have good casting knowledge and Talent Management skills.
  • Must have Telephonic Skills as the position requires a considerable amount of work on the phone with Artists and clients.
  • Must have excellent Management skills & willing to work under pressure and on a targeted basis.
  • Should be Open minded, Bold, Professional & flexible to work & travel anytime.
  • Must have the ability to work with accuracy, flexibility, and pro-actively.
  • Should be approachable, patient, career-oriented and diplomatic.
  • Must be a quick learn and have in-depth knowledge of the Entertainment world.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verifying new Artists’ Profiles, checking information, and upgrading profiles.
  • Find prospective artists and guide then, upgrade free users.
  • Call the artist, verify, fill in detail and inform of services and offers.
  • Managing Exclusive Talent Profiles.
  • Maintaining the company database artists’/clients’ records.
  • Managing transactions, planning, and negotiating budgets and records.
  • Manage Talent profiles and projects.
  • Grooming & guiding Talents.
  • Make new Clients and maintain healthy client base.
  • Arranging meetings, auditions, and appointments.
  • Liaise with the Admin Secretary about any other administrative duties.
  • Keep up to date the company records, history of online and offline Business records, and archive
  • all show materials
  • Coordinating between Management, Artists, and Clients and website updates and functions.
  • Follow up on artists’ and clients’ accounts.
  • Respond to artists’ and recruiters’ submissions, requests, and invitations.

CASTING

  • Work closely with Artists and clients and manage accountants, budgeting, and negotiation.
  • Responsible for finding the right casting/clients for the ideal Talent for each role/project and negotiating the next budget for the Artist and working for the company’s welfare.
  • Organize and conduct meeting with clients and auditions for each part, and are also in charge of handling budgets with clients and artists for various projects.
  • Knowledge of the artists and an extensive understanding of their abilities and holding an account of the Artists and involving them in grooming, workshops, and auditions.
  • Liaise with a range of people, including Management, Artists, Clients, and the market.

MANAGMENT

  • Following up with artists’ profiles and time to time updates on various auditions and workshops.
  • Arranging workshops, portfolio shoots, and grooming for artists.
  • Check their progress and share feedback on their profile, for the script as appropriate for auditions.
  • Understanding client’s need and cascading the same to the right candidates and artists.
  • Follow up with artists and clients on call/email/meeting with correspondence when asked
  • Undertake research as required and assist with reports
  • Assist the Marketing Assistant with on-the-day organizing and managing
  • Any administration needed and general support.
