Primary Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Workforce Planning

Develop and implement human resource strategies that support Moris Media’s business objectives, organisational structure and long-term workforce requirements. Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to identify hiring priorities, capability gaps, succession requirements and future staffing needs.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Management

Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle across Moris Media and its associated brands, departments and business divisions. This includes workforce requisition planning, job description development, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, assessment, selection, salary discussions, offer management and joining formalities.

Leadership and Specialist Hiring

Lead recruitment for managerial, creative, technical, operational and specialised positions across digital marketing, public relations, media, communications, business development, design, production, technology, finance and administration. Support senior leadership hiring and confidential recruitment assignments when required.

Employer Branding and Talent Pipeline Development

Strengthen Moris Media’s employer brand by developing professional recruitment communication, career campaigns, campus relationships and talent engagement initiatives. Build and maintain qualified talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements across multiple locations.

Onboarding and Employee Integration

Design and manage a structured onboarding process that introduces new employees to the organisation, their department, reporting structure, policies, responsibilities and performance expectations. Coordinate documentation, induction, access requirements, training schedules and probation reviews to support successful employee integration.

Performance Management

Develop, implement and monitor performance management systems that establish clear objectives, accountability standards and review processes. Guide managers in conducting performance evaluations, delivering constructive feedback, managing performance concerns and creating employee development plans.

Employee Relations

Serve as a professional and impartial point of contact for employee concerns, workplace grievances, disciplinary matters, interpersonal conflicts and policy-related queries. Ensure all cases are handled confidentially, fairly and in accordance with company procedures and applicable employment laws.

Compensation and Benefits Administration

Support the development and administration of competitive compensation structures, incentive programmes, employee benefits and recognition initiatives. Coordinate salary reviews, payroll inputs, attendance records, leave data, statutory requirements and approved employee reimbursements.

HR Policy Development and Implementation

Draft, review, update and communicate human resource policies, employee handbooks, standard operating procedures and internal guidelines. Ensure employees and managers understand organisational policies, workplace expectations, reporting processes and disciplinary procedures.

Employment Law and HR Compliance

Maintain working knowledge of applicable national and international employment laws, labour regulations, workplace standards, statutory obligations and documentation requirements. Ensure HR practices remain compliant across relevant locations and support legal or management reviews when required.

Training and Development

Identify organisational and departmental training needs through performance reviews, manager feedback and workforce analysis. Coordinate employee development programmes, leadership training, communication workshops, policy training and professional learning initiatives.

Employee Engagement and Retention

Develop initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, workplace communication, recognition, collaboration and retention. Monitor employee sentiment, identify recurring concerns and recommend practical actions that improve the overall employee experience.

HR Team Management

Lead, guide and supervise HR team members while assigning responsibilities, reviewing work quality and ensuring timely completion of recruitment, documentation, employee relations and HR operations. Support the professional development and accountability of the HR team.

HR Operations and Documentation

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, offer letters, confirmation letters, attendance records, leave documentation, performance records, disciplinary documentation and separation files. Ensure HR documentation is complete, organised and accessible only to authorised personnel.

HR Technology and Systems

Manage or support the effective use of Human Resource Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, attendance tools, payroll platforms and digital employee records. Ensure HR data is accurate, updated and handled in accordance with confidentiality standards.

HR Data and Reporting

Track and analyse key HR metrics including time to hire, recruitment source performance, employee turnover, absenteeism, offer acceptance, probation completion and retention. Prepare clear management reports and use available data to support workforce and policy decisions.
