Moris Media is searching for a Senior Manual Tester to guarantee software quality through manual testing procedures. Responsibilities include developing test plans, executing test cases, bug identification, documentation, and resolving cross-functional issues.

  • Develop and maintain a testing infrastructure for efficient testing.

Objectives of this role

  • Conduct regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and within a team.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a bonus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Possession of a Java certification is preferred.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, etc.
  • Familiarity with various cloud technologies, like Azure and AWS.
  • Experience in working with BDD frameworks using Cucumber or Karate.

MANDATORY REQUISITES:

  • Moris operates in a hybrid mode; this work-from-home job requires a laptop/desktop with upgraded configurations.

  • Occasional outdoor travel may be involved; flexibility in travel is required.
