I was travelling a lot at the time, so I needed communication that did not depend on long meetings. The timing made it important to get the basics right quickly. Everyone had a different priority and I was spending too much time settling the same decisions. The main concern was roi & conversion reporting, but I did not want a solution that created more work for our side. I also wanted expectations to stay realistic because our own response time was not always perfect.
The team gave us choices with reasons, so approvals became easier for our side. For roi & conversion reporting, they helped us get approvals and timing into a workable order. The discussions stayed close to the brief, and when our side delayed an input it was flagged without turning every delay into a crisis. I could see what needed a decision, what could move without me and what should wait. That made the working relationship easier to manage.
Over time, there was less confusion around the next action. For roi & conversion reporting, the useful change was not a dramatic headline; it was having fewer unclear decisions and a better sense of what needed attention next. That also made internal conversations easier because people were working from the same understanding.
More flexible review slots would help when senior people are travelling. It would make the review process easier for senior stakeholders. I would keep the rest of the process as it is For our roi & conversion reporting work in Goa, after 21 months, that is the one change I would make.
From my growth manager perspective, the plain planning reflection shaped how I remember this roi & conversion reporting engagement in Goa. We did not have a perfect engagement, mostly because our own availability changed more than once. Even so, the roi & conversion reporting work became easier once responsibilities were clear. I appreciated direct conversations and fewer unnecessary additions. The experience was mixed but useful enough for me to consider another project with clearer expectations. The strongest point for me was knowing what needed my decision and what did not.
There was enough value for me to consider another project, although I would start with a tighter scope My plain planning reflection from the roi & conversion reporting work in Goa is the reason for that view.
